Wohoo! Crane is here at 7.30a.m. For some reason I was expecting it to be massive, but it’s very compact (when its all folded up). Unfortunately I couldn’t stay to see it in action, but I sure saw the outcome when I got home.
The shell of the house is really starting to show nicely – one can almost imagine final shape of the house from the back. Although I’m wondering why the partition wall in the loft area we can see from the outside of house is straight and not tappered like the two end ones, which I am presuming will form the pitch of the new roof. Perhaps its temporary while they are putting up the steels etc?
Three of the smaller steels up on the scaffolds but not in place yet.
