It was quite hard to work out what they had done today – everything appeared the same as the previous day, but just as I was about to descend from the loft, I noticed an extra steel girder by my foot that was definitely not there the other day!
So it looks like they are doing the floor on the other dormer. That makes sense as there are four new steel supports in the living room, just below it, presumably to give the ceiling extra support while laying the steel. There are two girders visible on the floor – I think they installed the other earlier, we just couldn’t see it because of the insulation covering it.
There are also pencil drawings on the wall in the hall, which I was about to berate my daughter, but realised it was a rough sketch of the new staircase 🙂
